A two hundred year old farmhouse in Entre deux Mers in Gironde
South West France

Grange de Lavande is our two hundred year old farmhouse situated in the beautiful Entre deux Mers region of South West France. The main Farmhouse and Barn has had many uses over its two hundred years including wine production, tobacco drying, as well as fruits and animals. The farmhouse now sits in large landscaped gardens with far reaching views over farmland and the beautiful French countryside.

The area is awash with vineyards and wine producers and within just a few kilometres of a number of historic and picturesque Bastide towns where you will find numerous markets, restaurants and local boulangerie and boucherie.

We are within easy reach of the Bordeaux wine trails, Saint Emilion, and the impressive Garonne and Dordogne rivers as well as the Canal de Lateral providing miles of splendid walks and cycle routes.

We offer Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with a selection of individual decorated and styled rooms

Breakfast is served in our Winery Dining Room and guests can enjoy our large garden with outdoor dining area, barbeque, and an above ground splash pool in which to cool off after a day out exploring. We also offer a selection of outdoor games, as well as secure storage for guest's bikes and motorcycles. We have plenty of free on site parking.

Meet the owners

The English owners are Karen and Andy Parker and their Border Terrier Poppy, have recently taken over Grange de Lavande. Karen and Andy both came to the Gironde after living in Coventry and are now loving their new home and welcoming visitors from far and wide to enjoy this lovely region of France whether it be for a short break or something a little longer. The work continues with plans for further enhancements in the coming months and years.
